The traditional strategy consulting model involves retainers and heavy billings.  This approach puts the risk back on the consulting services buyer and often makes the cost untenable.   In tight markets, like information security, there is no budget for external strategic consulting.   Companies have to figure out innovation for themselves.  But in today's security market, 67% of security operators are too busy keeping the "lights-on," according to 2024 Red Canary study. 

At Highview, we take a different approach.  First, we align our compensation with business outcomes.  The bulk of our fees come from the providers of technology that you will license.  This defrays the constant spend for consulting services.   Second, we only succeed when you succeed.  And third, your down-side risk is mitigated as you are using a 3rd party to investigate, experiment and validate.  Done well, every dollar spent should come with an immediate return from margin and services.
